Disclaimer: There is a pretty high chance that I can out geek you, out Google you, or both.

My name is Jess and I'm a writer, editor, and marketing manager living in Dallas, TX. I have been blogging actively (and inactively) since 1995. I am an Apple-aholic and you'll rarely see me without my iPhone or iPad (or both). I blog about my fiction writing life on jessicafritsche.com, and about life in general (including my obsession with France and how much I love my cruiser bike) on Joli Velo. You'll see my other obsession, taking pics with my iPhone (yay Instagram!) on paper graffiti.

My professional background has taken me everywhere from the tech and software industry to the movies. I currently work at D Magazine as the marketing manager for D Custom. I have extensive experience in copywriting, editing, technical writing, instructional design, marketing, public relations, promotions, and journalism. I have edited fiction for 42opus and So New Publishing and have seen my own work published in online literary mags like Six Sentences.

In my spare time I am a wife, owned by three cats, and if I'm not hanging out with friends or reading a book I'm probably working on completing my first novel. Which novel gets completed first is anyone's best guess.
